After introducing the many new features at Pure Storage Accelerate in September 2019, the OnePager from June 2019 (blog post: "Pure Storage: a sales overview -the exclusive OnePager/poster for download") was no longer "U2D". As part of the revamp, all new products and features were incorporated into the OnePager:
Reiner as-a-Service (vormals ES2 - STaaS)
The application examples (see below) and their sample images have not been updated!

Today's IT market is flooded with products. Sales representatives and solution architects are expected to know all the systems and find the most sensible, best possible and customer-specific solution. The initial eng. Pitch (product presentation) leads one of this person already directly in the first customer discussion. It shows professionalism and technical competence to not only superficially touch on the products here and in the worst case not even know what you are actually talking about. Here a successful product placement becomes then extremely difficult. As a rule, most IT system houses do not call in specialists until the second meeting. Incorrect statements or empty promises about non-existent functions can be very unpleasant for the "pitcher" and specialist and become a premature show stopper for any further pre-sales discussion.
Another goal is to gather relevant information for the creation of a concept already during the initial contact. This facilitates the work of the specialists during the further PreSales process and the second contact. A customer-specific concept can be prepared which already contains an initial sizing, and if necessary the first price question can also be answered directly and realistically. In the storage area, a vague price estimate is very difficult: you can be thousands of euros too little or too much, whereby the latter is more dangerous for the further pre-sales process. A utopian price is a deterrent for customers and can quickly inhibit interest.
INFO: In the further course of PreSales, I advise the respective specialists to recheck the recorded data for sizing and all system requirements.
Since I keep noticing in the field that there is a need for action here, I set to work to find a solution for all these previous problems. The solution should be simple, easy to understand and accessible for everyone, but not too superficial.
The solution should also be usable on all forms of digital media (laptop, iPad or presentation media) and print media. In addition, it should contain all Pure Storage products without exception and the scope should be limited to one page.
I think I have hit the bull's eye with this visualization. With this blog, I am addressing all distributors, solution architects/pre-salers and technical newcomers who already sell Pure Storage products or would like to do so in the future. How simple Pure Storage is, you can see in the OnePager at first sight.
As already mentioned, the OnePager is suitable for digital and print media in DIN-A3 (primary) and DIN-A4 format. The ulterior motive of the DIN-A3 format is the creation of a poster to address "passing by" persons on the topic of Pure Storage and to arouse their curiosity.
The file will be available for download in English and in German as PDF and PNG. Other file formats on request.

Below are a few examples of the possible uses on a wide variety of media types.
The template in use
Useful example 1:
a customer pitch using the OnePager in PDF format on an iPad. Zoom functionality of the PDF reader can be used.
Useful example 2:
as a poster in your system house as Pure Storage Partner for information/product training of all colleagues. (Can also be used in the field for customer presentations).
The OnePager/Poster were created by myself. The rights of the files are owned by Marcel Düssil - PUREFLASH.blog, but they can be freely used, distributed and printed. However, the document may not be edited. Exceptions can be made upon request.
To download the files you have to register for free in the exclusive PUREFLASH.blog area. In the near future more features will be available and files will be shared here. So it's worth to register: to the exclusive area
